The Human Rights Protection Cell is established to promote, protect, and safeguard human rights within the institution. The cell works towards creating awareness about human rights, preventing discrimination, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all stakeholders.
Objectives
- To promote awareness of human rights among students and staff.
- To ensure protection against discrimination, harassment, and exploitation.
- To provide a platform for redressal of human rights–related grievances.
- To foster equality, dignity, and mutual respect within the institution.
- To comply with national and institutional human rights guidelines.
Functions of the Cell
- Organizing awareness programs, seminars, and workshops on human rights.
- Addressing complaints related to violation of human rights.
- Recommending appropriate actions based on complaints received.
- Ensuring confidentiality and fairness in grievance handling.
- Monitoring institutional practices to uphold human rights standards.
Grievance Redressal Mechanism
Any student, staff member, or stakeholder can submit a written complaint to the Human Rights Protection Cell. All complaints will be examined impartially and addressed in a time-bound manner while maintaining strict confidentiality.
